When is Library open?
Monday – Friday 8.30 – 18.00
Every last Friday of the month the Library is open 8.30 -12.00 due to “Clean-up” day.
On public holidays the Library is closed.
On the days before public holidays the library is open 8.30-14.00

How do I get to the Library?
Library is situated on Pärnu maantee 62 zero ground room number 002. Look here for a video guide starting from the main entrance of the University.

How can I contact Library?

Who can use the Library?
The Library of TTK University of Applied Sciences is a specialized library serving the students and staff of TTK University of Applied Sciences. People outside TTK University of Applied Sciences can read books, journals and theses on site with the possibility of free scanning and charged copying.

What material does the Library have?
The collection consists of professional and scientific literature and periodical publications published in Estonia and overseas which are compatible with the university curricula. Past 10 years theses are stored and made available.

Where can i get information about new books?
Find information about incoming new books from our new books blog.
Book introductions are in Estonian, but you can find books using search box (search is performed from titles) or browse by faculty (faculties are also in English).

Where can I get a cup of tea?
Next to library there is a cafeteria where hot and cold food and drinks are available.

What happens if I lose a book?
If you have lost books which you have borrowed from the Library’s collections the loss must be reported as soon as possible to the staff at the Reader Services Desk, tel. +372 666 4558 or by email to raamatukogu[ät]tktk.ee. If you have damaged or lost library materials you will have to compensate the loss:
• Replace lost or damaged item with an equivalent item
• Replace lost or damaged item with an item suggested by librarian.

What happens if a book is stolen from me?
Stolen books should be reported to the Reader Services Desk. If a police report is submitted to the Reader Services Desk, the Library will waive the administrative fee in replacing the book.  However the stolen book still needs to be replaced.

What should I do when the fire alarm sounds?
In the event of a fire, there will be a loud continuous alarm and you should leave the building immediately via the nearest fire exit. Please follow librarians orders immediately and take your belongings along.
