Erasmus Students Learned Estonian Dances at International Fest15.10.2014

On October 7th, the fifth International Fest took place at TTK University of Applied Sciences.  This time, the event was organized together with the Erasmus students from the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. Alltogether, international students of seven countries – Germany, Turkey, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Finland, took part in the event. In addition, there were Estonian students already gone to Erasmus, and students yet planning to go abroad.

Every country had a table for serving their national dishes. The guests could taste three different potato salads from Germany, sweet cakes and meatballs from Turkey, a cake from Czech Republic, a liquerice drink from Finland, and “coloured dog”, Baltic sprat sandwiches, oatmeal cookies and different sweet cakes from Estonia.

At the end of the joyful evening, both Estonians and international students could learn local folk dances in the workshop organized by TTK UAS Folk Dance Group Savijalakesed.

The next International fest will take place in the beginning of April 2015.
