International Students Love Snow and Travelling19.02.2016

In the first weekend of February, the joint Welcome Weekend for international students was organized by TTK University of Applied Sciences and Tallinn Health Care College. The event took place in Mustjõe, where students could ride horse sledges on snow, dance Estonian folk dances with TTK UAS dance group Savijalakesed, go to traditional smoke sauna and try Estonian national food.

„It´s snowing here! I love it,“ said Miryam from Spain, who is studying textile engineering in Estonia. „Estonians are punctual, very punctual,“ said Emin from Turkey, who is studying mechainical engineering. The students said they also wish to travel while in Estonia – ESN Tallinn is organizing trips to Lapland, Saint Petersburg, etc. In the spring semester, 18 Erasmus students are studying at TTK University of Applied Sciences. They come from Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Germany.
