TTK UAS Students Among the Best of Baltic States Architecture Students14.09.2015

The best graduation projects of architecture students of Baltic States were awarded on a ceremony held on September 10 in the framework of the Tallinn Architecture Biennale. The awards were announced by the Baltic Architects Unions Association (BAUA). The Award of the Best Bachelor Work went to TTK UAS graduate Viktoria Andrejeva for her thesis The Analysis and Development Possibilities of the Multifunctional Student Housing of UT Narva College. The jury´s special mention for creativity went to TTK UAS graduate Mark Grimitliht for his thesis Architecture of Sacred Natural Sites.

All in all, 20 students from various higher education institutions – Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius Academy of Arts, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Riga Technical University, RISEBA University, Estonian Academy of Arts and TTK University of Applied Sciences, participated in the competition. The exhibition of the nominees is opened at TTK UAS from September 14 – 30. Then, the exhibition will travel to Latvia and Lithuania.
