TTK UAS selected the 3D-printed heat exchanger for Formula Student car as the best final project of 2019. Konrad Ilustrumm, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Institute of Technology designed it. Peter \u0160verns, a lecturer of the Institute of Technology who supervised Ilustrumm\u2019s project, considers this a perfect example of a modern high-level product development. \u201cThe project combines previous experience in the design of heat exchangers for formula cars with a thorough scientific approach. The result was a radiator with improved geometry which has been manufactured using selective laser melting method and is now being tested on FEST19 formula car,\u201d explains \u0160verns.<\/p>\n
