The programme, coordinated by Olga Ovt\u0161arenko, aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of reading technical documentation and digitally modelling objects\u2014skills essential in engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BIP brought together 25 students from seven partner universities in Latvia, Lithuania, and Germany. The on-site week was preceded by an online component that ran from March 17 to April 4, supported by TTK\u2019s interactive teaching materials and regular online consultations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colleagues from Vilnius Tech, Riga Technical University (RTU), and TTK UAS prepared comprehensive content focused on practical exercises in digital modelling. The training sessions offered students a structured introduction to a range of design tools, including SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Blender. These tools were used during the hands-on modelling project in TTK\u2019s computer labs, where participants, working in international teams of 3\u20134, designed a modern student\u2019s living space based on a chosen hobby. This setup not only promoted cross-cultural collaboration but also encouraged creative problem-solving through practical application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feedback from participants highlighted the variety of software platforms and the team-based project as key strengths of the programme. Students valued the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, gain insight into new tools, and work closely with peers from other countries. Many described the programme as academically balanced and relevant to their future professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three most successful group projects were recognised with prizes, and both students and instructors noted the effectiveness of the teaching approach and the collaborative experience.
