The event, organized by third-year distance-learning students of the Transport and Logistics curriculum, aimed to support students in finding internships and building professional networks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now held for the third consecutive spring, M\u00f5ttevedu is, according to this year\u2019s organizer and TTK logistics student <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\"><strong>Kaisa Lumiste<\/strong><\/span><\/span>, a highly important event. \u201cM\u00f5ttevedu offers students the opportunity for direct interaction with companies, as well as valuable professional contacts, knowledge, and practical experience. The goal of the event was achieved\u2014several students found internship opportunities as a result of M\u00f5ttevedu, and at least one participant secured a job in their field,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating companies from the logistics and transport sector included DPD Eesti AS, Adduco O\u00dc, NG Logistics O\u00dc, and Eesti Raudtee. The event also involved Rakvere Ametikool and Valgamaa Kutse\u00f5ppekeskus, bringing in young people who are still considering their field of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program combined networking, practical learning, and entertainment. Participants could test their knowledge in a quiz and solve practical case studies prepared by companies, offering opportunities to apply subject-specific knowledge and broaden their perspectives. In addition, attendees could try out VR headsets and capture fun moments in a photo booth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event featured Irene Annus, a pioneer of salary awareness in Estonia and author of the book \u201cPalgateadlik l\u00e4bi elu\u201d (Salary-Aware Through Life), who shared practical advice on job applications and interviews.
