TTK UAS selected the 3D-printed heat exchanger for Formula Student car as the best final project of 2019. Konrad Ilustrumm, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Institute of Technology designed it. Peter Šverns, a lecturer of the Institute of Technology who supervised Ilustrumm’s project, considers this a perfect example of a modern high-level product development. “The project combines previous experience in the design of heat exchangers for formula cars with a thorough scientific approach. The result was a radiator with improved geometry which has been manufactured using selective laser melting method and is now being tested on FEST19 formula car,” explains Šverns.

Road Construction student Johannes Kukebal’s final thesis “Construction Management Project for the Intersection of Ahtri, Jõe, Lootsi Streets and Reidi Road” was selected the best of the Institute of Civil Engineering.

Erich Keler, the author of the best final thesis of the Institute of Logistics, researched the prospects of creating self-service infrastructure in the Estonian parcel delivery market.

The best final thesis of the Institute of Clothing and Textile was Hanna Tohv’s study on creating 3D Model of a shirtdress using Optitex Software.

The Institute of Architecture proclaimed as the best Elina Loit’s final project titled “The Memorial for Estonian Presidents at Pakri Peninsula”.
