Study arrangements at TTK UAS after the official end of the emergency situation in Estonia on May 18

The Estonian Government decided to end the emergency situation from midnight May 18 due to the fact that the rate of the spread of COVID-19 virus in Estonia is in decline, as confirmed by the COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Group, advising the Government Committee, and the Health Board. The restrictions imposed during the emergency situation will be gradually eased and a new legal bases will be provided. The most important movement restriction, i.e. 2+2 rule, remains in force. After the end of the emergency situation, the health care emergency remains in force in Estonia.

TTK UAS students are advised to keep using as much as possible the possibilities of distance learning until the end of this semester.

Starting from May 18 small in person study groups of up to ten persons are allowed if approved by all relevant parties (lecturers, students, institution). All safety measures and recommendations must always be followed to prevent the spreading of the virus. TTK UAS provides disinfectants and disposable masks at its premises. The Institutes will provide the students with more detailed information about the study arrangements.

The students have the right to refuse to take part of in-person studies (i.e if a family member belongs to a risk group). In such circumstances, a solution acceptable to all parties has to be found so that the student can continue with the studies in long distance format. The students must contact their lecturers to inform them of any restrictions regarding in-person studies.

Students who have been infected with the COVID-19 virus must inform TTK UAS. The Estonian Health Board will also share this information with our institution.

Updated official information on the situation in Estonia can be found on the kriis.ee webpage.
