The annual Engineering Career Day hosted by TTK University of Applied Sciences (TTK UAS) attracted over 700 young people and more than 60 companies from across Estonia. Held on Monday, March 4th, the event provided a valuable platform for participants to explore various career opportunities in the field of engineering.

Attendees engaged in a range of activities, including hands-on workshops, campus tours, and seminars designed to broaden their understanding of potential career paths. Students from nearly seventy schools across the country took advantage of the chance to immerse themselves in the world of engineering and technology, with some also considering international study options through the Erasmus+ program.

This year, TTK UAS introduced pre-seminars tailored specifically for students, featuring insights and experiences shared by entrepreneurs. These sessions aimed to inject fresh perspectives into the traditional university curriculum. Liisa Käiväräinen, the project manager of the Engineering Career Day, highlighted the importance of these pre-seminars in enriching students’ educational experiences.

Organized by the TTK Marketing Club, the Engineering Career Day seeks to spark curiosity among young minds and encourage them to explore career opportunities in engineering and technology. The event was made possible thanks to generous sponsorship from Enefit and other companies.

In addition to the main activities, TTK’s podcast added an extra dimension to the event, capturing the energy and enthusiasm of the day.
