In May 2027, TTK University of Applied Sciences will host the 12th European Conference on Protective Clothing (ECPC 2027) – one of Europe’s leading scientific and industry forums dedicated to protective clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE). The conference will take place 11–14 May 2027 and will bring together researchers, industry leaders, manufacturers, testing specialists, and end-users from across Europe and beyond.
ECPC 2027 will focus on the future of protective textiles, smart PPE solutions, human performance and resilience, and sustainable protective systems. The event provides a platform to discuss how advanced materials, smart technologies, and innovative design approaches can improve safety and comfort in demanding working environments. The programme will include scientific presentations, case studies, panel discussions, and industry insights, encouraging collaboration between research and practice.
A special feature of ECPC 2027 is its integration with the 14th International Manikin & Modelling Meeting (I3M), which focuses on advanced testing methods, human simulation, and modelling techniques for protective clothing performance. Together, the events aim to bridge cutting-edge research, testing technologies, and real-world applications in protective equipment development.
