🚶‍♀️ Experience the urban environment from a different perspective!

As part of European Mobility Week, TTK University of Applied Sciences (TTK UAS) and the Ministry of Climate invite you to take part in a mobility challenge on Monday, 21 September. The event offers an opportunity to experience some of the barriers and challenges that people with reduced mobility or visual impairments may encounter in their everyday journeys through the urban environment.

During the guided tours, participants follow a set route using mobility aids such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and visual impairment simulation glasses. The practical experience helps participants better understand how seemingly minor features of the urban environment can become significant obstacles for people with reduced mobility or visual impairments.

Five guided tours take place at 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00 and 14.00. Each tour accommodates up to 12 participants.

The event is organised as part of a co-creation session within the international ARTEMIS project, bringing together different stakeholders to explore ways of creating a more accessible and inclusive urban environment.
