The BIP “Developing AI-Based Learning Materials in STEM” is designed to equip educators with practical AI tools and techniques for developing STEM learning materials. Participants will gain insights into emerging trends and advancements in AI while learning how to effectively integrate these tools into their daily work to enhance teaching and learning processes.
The course will cover topics such as prompt engineering, creating learning materials based on big data analysis, chatbot development, AI-powered image generation, and 3D visualization for technical disciplines, among others.
*Participants are requested to bring their own laptops
Key Dates
- January 30, 2025 — Online kick-off meeting, 15:00–16:30 (Estonian time, EET, GMT+2 hours).
- From January 31 to February 14, 2025 — Independent work: Participants will explore and document their use of AI tools to create learning materials.
- February 17 to 21, 2025 — Onsite session at TTK University of Applied Sciences, Tallinn, Estonia.
Outcomes
- Participants understand fundamental AI concepts with practical examples and applications.
- Participants are able to use AI tools to develop AI-based learning materials.
