About the institute

Institute of Technology prepares applied engineers who design, develop and implement technological solutions in the fields of mechanical engineering, robotics engineering, automotive engineering and electrical engineering. Studies combine engineering knowledge with practical projects, laboratory work and professional practice, preparing graduates for careers in industry and technology companies.

The students from the Institute of Technology are actively participating in the international product development competition Formula Student aimed at the students of engineering and automotive technology.

In addition to teaching, the institute offers companies and organisations a range of applied research, consultancy and advisory services in the field of engineering. The institute also organises further training in various fields.

Studies

The institute offers the following degree programmes:

  • Automotive Engineering
    The programme provides knowledge and practical skills in vehicle engineering, diagnostics and maintenance, as well as modern automotive and mobility technologies.
    Study modes: daytime study, session-based study
  • Electrical Engineering
    The programme prepares specialists with knowledge of electrical and automation systems and the ability to apply modern technologies in the energy and industrial sectors.
    Study mode: combined daytime and session-based study
  • Mechanical Engineering
    The programme focuses on the design, manufacture and development of products, equipment and mechanical systems.
    Study modes: daytime study, session-based study
  • Robotics Engineering
    The programme covers the design, programming and implementation of robots and automated systems.
    Study modes: daytime study, session-based study

The language of instruction of all curricula at TTK UAS is Estonian.

Courses in English are available for Erasmus+ exchange students from TTK UAS partner universities.
