Research was conducted as series of experiments in different roads in Estonia. Oil shale combustion ash was used in soil preparation and stabilisation process. TTK UAS instructed and supervised the work. Experiments were well measured, results analysed and documented. As a result the report how to use oil shale combustion ash in forest road construction was issued.
Applied research is used in master thesis and by Estonian Energy, government owned energy company.
