The faculty provides higher education in the field of Construction Engineering, Road Construction and Construction Geodesy. Every year about 130 daily learning students and 100 distant students have been accepted.
Developing the curriculum the needs and recommendations of representatives of professional unions and experts of curricula have been taken into consideration. The curriculum of the Faculty of Construction has been meant for 4-year education and is based on the courses system and the module system. Module based course system gives the possibility to choose selected subjects. In addition of daily courses distant learning courses are also available. Scope in credit points/learning weeks: 240 ECTS CP – quite the same system as for example in Finland.
The aim of the curriculum is to educate students so that after the graduation they will be experts in the field of Construction Engineering, Road Construction or Construction Geodesy. Our graduates have been successful in their working-life, nobody is unemployed and they have been very expected in different companies.
Master studies for our graduates are possible in the Tallinn University of Technology, the Estonian University of Life Sciences, the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft) in Berlin etc. |
