The faculty comprises of three chairs: Automotive Engineering, Logistics and Economics, and Railway Engineering, each providing instruction according to the approved curriculum and conducting applied research in its own field.
Lively cooperation between the chairs creates opportunities for the development of Estonian road transport as a unified system. The faculty prepares specialists through both its full-time degree programmes and its adult training courses. Every year 450-500 people complete its training courses, including transport specialists, driving school instructors, and mechanics in automotive companies.
Full-time students can acquire professional competence in fields ranging from transport planning (logistics), the use and operation of different means of transport, and their maintenance and repair (automotive and railway engineering). |
